Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyWed May 18, 2011 2:21 pm

Akefia and Atem arrived at his house and Akefia put his horse in the stables with fresh food and water.

He then grabbed his new friend's wrist and ran inside his house.

"MOM DAD I'M HOME," He grinned.

"Didn't your mother tell you not to come home till dinner is ready," his father rose an eyebrow to his small son.

"But, I have new friend who is a complete stranger to the village!" Akefia told him and smiled innocently knowing he just chewed up his father. "His name is Atem."

His father examined Atem from where he sat and then spoke, "Well then Atem nice meeting you," he greeted.

Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyFri May 20, 2011 12:28 pm

After putting the horse in the stables, Atem felt himself be pulled by his new friend into the home. This was very, VERY new to Atem, as that his other friend Mahado wouldn’t touch him at all, unless it was completely necessary. Mahado might have been his best friend, but Mahado made it a point to act more like a servant than a friend.

The runaway prince was a bit frightened at first, he wondered if he had not gone far enough and if Akefia’s father was going to recognize his red eyes as that of the prince of Egypt’s. When he didn’t, Atem was very relieved.

“Hello sir, thank you... your son helped me out in the market place, I would have been in trouble if he had not come along.” After speaking, Atem took off his hood and face mask and smiled at Akefia… who probably was very surprised now with the colors of Atem’s hair and also his features.

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyFri May 20, 2011 1:55 pm

When Atem took off his hood and mask Akefia grinned and his first comment was, "You have spiky hair." He giggled. "Ooo, be right back," he ran inside another room. Akefia looked curious at what his mom was making.

"Ooo MEAT!" He grinned taking a piece.

"AKEFIA GET OUT OF HERE!" She smacked his hands gently. His father, in the other room, sighed and wasn't surprised that Akefia would be getting into the food. When the small thief came back to where Atem was he gave him a piece of meat.

"Here yah go!" He grinned and took a bite of his. "Wanna stay for dinner?" Akefia asked his new friend. "We have more then enough."

Atem grinned and nodded, “Yes, I do, thank you for noticing!” For a second, Atem forgot he wasn’t wearing his crown, but he realized that there wasn’t pressure on his hair so he grinned wider and was truly happy with his adventure.

When Akefia went out, Atem was a little confused, but then he heard in the other room, “MEAT!” and started laughing. His new friend came back and he happily accepted the meat and then nodded, “I would love to… if I can stay…” Atem smiled at his good fortune.

Akefia grinned and ran to his dad as he jumped up and down, "Can he stay for dinner!? Please!!!!" He begged.

His dad rose an eyebrow, "I don't know, that bite mark didn't heal yet."

Akefia then did a cute puppy face towards his dad and he couldn't help but laugh, "Oh alright."

Akefia jumped for joy, "YAY! Cool! Come on let me show you my mom!" Akefia dragged his new friend in the kitchen where his mom, who looked SERIOUSLY like Akefia, cooked dinner happily.

"MOM! Meet my friend!" He grinned.

His mother turned around and smiled at Atem, "Hello, what's your name?" she asked kindly.

Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat May 28, 2011 7:00 am

Akefia's face was indeed too adorable to resist, Atem had to smile at the innocence of it. He was happy he could stay for dinner and managed, "Thank you sir" before his new friend dragged him to the kitchen to meet his mother.

Atem was shocked at similarity between Akefia and his mom, but he quickly got over his shock and smiled, "I'm known as Atem." Atem made sure to NOT say "prince Atem", for that would seriously complicate things.

A worrisome thought then crossed the young princes' mind. Over dinner, it would probably be obvious that the family would want to get to know him... that they would want his story and to know where he was from... Atem almost froze with fear but he quickly relaxed and hoped he could make up a story on the spot without them getting suspicious of who he REALLY was.

Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat May 28, 2011 9:41 am

Akefia's mom turned her attention back to the stove which she was cooking on and kept her smile on her face, "Well its nice to meet you Atem, I'm glad- AKEFIA NO!" she pulled her son away from the meat.

"Aww..." Akefia complained, he was so close on that meat also.

His mother continued, "I'm so glad to have you as a guest."

He's better then all of the other 'friends' Akefia has, his mother added to herself.

Akefia grinned, "When is dinner done!?"

"Right now," his mother responded as she set the food on the table, "go get your father."

Akefia ran to his dad and dragged him inside the kitchen, "COME ON THE LONGER YOU TAKE THE LONGER WE HAVE TO WAIT TO EAT!" Akefia said. When entering the kitchen they can see Akefia pushing his dad to walk faster.

"He's your son," his mom smirked.

The dad gave an annoyed face at his wife and sat down. Akefia ran to he other side of the table and sat down as well, "You can sit here Atem," as he patted the only empty seat at the table.

Akefia's mom served everyone food and everyone began to eat. Three seconds later Akefia said, "Can I have some more meat?"

His mom sighed, "Here we go again."

"He's you son," Her husband grinned.

She narrowed her eyes evilly at her father then looked at Akefia, "you don't eat any more meat until you eat your vegetables."

Akefia grumbled and started eating his vegetables slowly with grumble of complaints under his breath.

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyThu Jun 02, 2011 9:45 am

Atem continued to grin at the display Akefia was giving in order to get meat. He was glad to see how a ‘common’ family acted and he quite enjoyed it.

Unlike how Akefia ate, Atem showed his royal raising and ate properly and like the little prince he was. He had a good posture and held his fork as people in high society did and… his manners almost showed he was raised as someone in high society was.

“This food is very good, thank you” Atem smiled at Akefia’s mother but then turned to Akefia and commented, “The vegetables aren’t that bad!” and laughed a little at his friends’ behavior.

Atem wondered briefly if Akefia’s parents were going to start asking him questions, so he tried to be polite but remain quiet to avoid them being suspicious of his heritage.

Akefia's mom smiled, "your welcome," she then noticed how polite and well mannered he is.

"So Atem, where you from?" The dad asked, "You don't look like your from around here."

"I found him wondering in the streets," Akefia grinned, "he can't be around here how he was handling that stupid merchant, you need to go beat him up dad, he's annoying."

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySun Jun 05, 2011 1:59 pm

Atem had unfortunately been drinking something when Akefia’s dad asked him the question. The second the question was out there, Atem almost chocked on the drink and he used his choking time to think of an answer.

The young prince smiled to Akefia when he answered his dad and then Atem carefully said, “Yes I’m… from quite far away from here. I had been cooped up in my… home for a long time and I decided I needed somewhat of an adventure to help myself understand life in the outside world.”

The response Atem gave was probably a perfect diplomatic reply… something that would help him well when he became Pharaoh. Atem nodded to Akefia, “I didn’t particularly like the way he was looking at my horse…” Atem frowned and remembered the predatory look the merchant had given when he walked in with his horse.

((what if the mom knew he was royalty, but she doesn't say anything lol yeah?))

Akefia nodded, "Yeah we never go to him to buy anything, all he wants is treasure and his prices are outrageous," Akefia complained about the merchant as he chomped down a chunk of meat he stole from his mom's plate.

Akefia's mom looked at him with annoyance, "Akefia," she gave a warning tone and he grinned innocently at her.

Ignoring the his wife and son the father continued, "Ah," he observed, "So do you live in a small village like us? Or in the kingdom?" He was very curious.

Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyTue Jun 07, 2011 9:10 am

((Hmmmm sure, well how about she doesn’t know he’s the Pharaoh’s son but she definitely knows he is from a noble family yesh? Like she doesn’t know he’s SERIOUSLY royalty but she knows he is of VERY HIGH nobility XD))

Atem laughed at his new friends’ attitude towards meat and how he stole his mothers meat. Where Atem was from, none of this would ever happen. The young prince rarely saw his own father, and at dinner when they had it together, his father mostly talked about what was happening with the Kingdom instead of wondering how his son was doing.

“I live in the Kingdom.” Atem said shortly and hoped that he wasn’t going to give anything away about who he was. The young prince glanced at Akefia’s mother and she had a look like she knew he was someone in a high position. It almost scared Atem, but he decided that since no one on the outside really saw him, she couldn’t know he was actually the PRINCE of Egypt.

“I however wish I could live in a small village, I like it a lot better than… where I live” Atem almost said the palace, but he caught himself.

Akefia's father face darkened when the young prince said he lived in the kingdom, "the kingdom huh?" he began to speak. Akefia took his eyes off the meat for a while when he noticed his father's different more serious tone of voice.

"Where in the kingdom do you live?" The father asked as he perked up an eyebrow.

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat Oct 08, 2011 2:51 pm

Atem knew he had to be careful and he played his part well, "Near the palace but not on the main street so we dont get the annoying priests or body guards walking around... I dont like those guys!" Atem frowned and it was true, the presists and body guards were always annoying him.

"I really would want to live in a smaller village, not so close to the palace... yeah" Atem smiled softly. He laughed in his head when he thought about what the priests were doing right now that they found he was missing.

Atem smiled and then continued speaking, "I know I'm lucky the priests dont bother my neighborhood because when I do go to the main street, sometimes the body guards stop my path because its "dangerous" and that annoys me..." When Atem said "dangerous" he did so in a sarcastic voice that he hoped would ease the tention he almost could sense in the father.

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat Oct 08, 2011 2:59 pm

The father sat there, still continuing to look suspicious at Atem, but then relaxed, "that sounds annoying. Living in a small village is the best."

Akefia grinned and continued pestering his mom for more meat, which she ignored him and told him he won't get any until he eats his vegetables.

"Well Atem, how is it like back at the kingdom? Is the palace awesome? does it look nice? Have you seen the inside? is there a lot of people? Is there meat?" Akefia hoarded Atem with questions, since he was indeed curious, and grinned as he snuck of meat and ate it without his mother's knowing.

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat Oct 08, 2011 3:10 pm

Atem smiled and nodded at the father then turned to his newfound friend,

"Um, ok from the top, Its too busy and too many guards that are annoying, the palace is large and sometimes makes me wonder how they ever find their way around it, um yes it looks nice... I have been inside, once they accused my father of something so I went with him to plead innocent and we won, the pharaoh let us go..." On the last comment, Atem was telling the truth but it wasnt his story, it was another commoners story and he remembered because the man's son had gone with him and was about his age. Atem had stood by his father when the trial took place and his father had claimed them innocent and let them be.

Atem then continued, "Yes there are people everywhere, which is why I would prefer a smaller village... it seems so nice! and there is meat, but mostly fruits and bread..." Atem smiled and laughed, "Any other questons? but... Am i really that insteresting because im from the kingdom area?"

Akefia listened closely to the prince and grinned, "I thought living at the kingdom would be great, but I guess not."

Akefia's mom then gave a small gasp, "if you live near the kingdom, aren't your parents worried if your hear across desert in the thief village?"

Akefia's house Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySat Oct 08, 2011 4:24 pm

Atem chuckled, "I guess it has its good side, like food and the marketplace... but yeah.." Atem shrugged when he told Akefia.

When Akefia's mom asked, Atem had to struggle to hide a sheepish grin, and he responded, "Heh heh, well I guess they might be a little worried, but I can protect myself and... I just wanted an adventure!" Atem smiled innocently at her.

If she only knew what Seth and the other priests were probably going through, she would know that they were indeed worried about him. Not to meantion that it was possible that the Pharaoh would tear the land appart till he found his only beloved son. So "worried" was an UNDERSTATEMENT!

((MEANWHILE THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY!!! xD SORRY I HAD TO))

Seth paced back and forth in the courtyard, trying to think where the young prince had run off to. He had already sent thousands of guards through the city, hoping that Atem was just messing with them. He refused to believe anyone could kidnap Atem, so he knew it was all the young prince's doing.

A group of guards rushed forward to give the annoyed and worried priest the news. "Have you found him?" Seth asked with a scary and angry tone in his voice. The head guard fearfully replied, "No.. sir, No trace of him... except one of the horses is missing so perhaps he went to a whole different...village?"

Seth threw his hands up in the air and exclaimed, " GREAT RAAA!!! WHY IS HE LIKE THIS?!?!" Seth growled and told the guards with an angry scowl on his face, "You are dismissed..." and then walked away with his coat billowing behind him ((BIOLLWING COAT TAILS OF DOOOOMMM)

On his way to get his horse and look personally for Atem, he vowed to himself with a bit of love in his voice, "I promise I will find you and keep you safe... Atem..."

(((hehehe i wanted to do this side =3 poor Seth is going crazy and Atem im sure would be laughing at him! XD)))

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptySun Oct 09, 2011 3:36 am

Akefia's mom was slightly angry, just because she was a mom and so she knew how other moms felt she thought that his parents were quite worried, "Have you ever thought how your parents would feel that you snuck off to a whole different village without telling them? My your mother must be worried sick!"

She then turned to Akefia who had a grin on his face, and she smacked him. "OW!"

"Don't get any ideas Akefia!" She told him.

"I'm not I'm not sheesh," he sulked in his chair and put his hands on his head where his mother had hit him. His father though gave a small chuckle.

"If you want I can escort you back to your homeland," he perked up an eyebrow, he always wanted to see the land of the Pharaohs.

"OO I WANNA GO!" Akefia grinned and sat up, "can I PPPLLLEEEAAAAASSSEEEE!"

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyMon Oct 10, 2011 7:07 am

Atem kept his face straight when he replied, "My mother is no longer with my father and I, and... I'm sure he knows I can take care of myself." Atem sighed however and knew he would have to return soon... Seth was probably never going to leave his side again.

"That is very kind of you, but I can make it back home by myself, its fine, and then you would have to make two trips... I guess I do have to go back, but do you think it would be possible for me to stay until nighttime and then leave? I think I could go unnoticed in the dark far more than the day and sneak back into my house by cover of night..." Atem smiled and hoped that the two wouldnt escort him... especially because 1-he didnt have a house outside the palace and 2-Seth would notice right away.

((I totally forgot that I was going to have Atem say he worked in the palace -_-*** BAAAAHHHHH should I change it or just keep going? -_- XD?))

((lol its cool lets keep going xD because then i would have to change it mine too xD))

Akefia's mom frowned and felt sorry, "Oh...I'm so sorry to hear that..." Her eyes fell to the floor and Akefia stared at Atem, he didn't understand how it was like to not have parents.

"If you didn't have a mom then how did live? Did you dad cook for you?" he asked, but the he was interrupted by his mom.

"No more questions Akefia. Sure Atem you may stay until nighttime," She smiled at him.

After they finished eating she picked up all the dishes and entered the kitchen to wash them. Akefia glanced over at Atem, "I'm going to miss you if you leave," he frowned. "There isn't a lot of kids here...and the kids that are here aren't really cool like you... Will you come back and visit?"

((what if Akefia followed Atem home xD lol it would be funny))

PostSubject: Re: Akefia's house   Akefia's house EmptyMon Oct 10, 2011 7:32 am

Atem shrugged and was about to say his servants cooked for him but instead said, "Yeah, my dad had to learn and we manage."

"I really dont mind the questions, its cool that you guys are interested in me." Atem said truthfully, they would REALLY be interested if they had found out he was PRINCE Atem but of course they wouldnt find that out for a long time.

At Akefia's statement, Atem grinned, "Of course! I would love to visit more often... I'm sure I can arrange something with my father..." Atem thought to himself and then smacked his forehead, "Oh no... I have this annoying...well you can say mentor... and hes always getting on my case, he would be the one I have to convince..." Atem was thinking about Seth when he said "annoying"

He looked at Akefia but then grinned, "Maybe he would let me if I brought my friend along!" Atem was trying not to say names, just in case the family would recognize them as being some of the priests and associates of the pharaoh. "I will really miss you too Akefia, and you are really awesome... I think we really would have to get together!" Atem smiled but knew the time was coming that he had to get back to the Kingdom to sneak back into the castle and pretend like he was never gone... Seth was going to be angry.

Akefia grinned, "And maybe I can go visit you sometime!"

Akefia's father went to stand, then heard his son, "No Akefia, you may not visit the kingdom, the Pharaoh there will not approve of us..."

Akefia stared at his father with saddened eyes, "why?"

"Because we are thieves and they will kill us if we even come close to their kingdom," with that his father left to go work.

Akefia crossed his arms and made a face, "well that's not really fair..." Without thinking Akefia hugged Atem.

"You better come visit me!" he said. He then formed a plan in his head that he will sneak out and follow Atem home.

Atem frowned, "That's not fair, the Pharaoh doesnt know you guys, why would he jump to that conclusion?!?!" Atem was slightly angry that his father might do this. He knew when he was Pharaoh, he wouldnt make someone innocent pay the price.

Atem was completely shocked by Akefia's hug he almost remained completely frozen. He, however, quickly regained his control and hugged Akefia back and they looked as if they could have been friends since they were born.

It was sad to think that this was the first time that someone other than those in the palace had hugged Atem. The guards would never have allowed this. Atem smiled softly and still hugged his new found friend, "I will even if I have to sneak out every time!" Atem smiled and knew he had to keep this friendship going, he would just have to be sneakier with Seth.

Akefia let go of him and faced Atem, "Atem, if you haven't noticed the reason why the Pharaoh doesn't like us is because were thieves, who would want thieves over at their kingdom?"

He then grinned as he held up Atem's money pouch, "And it kinda obvious were really good at stealing too," Akefia gave a small laugh.
